Tweed Courthouse, New York, NY

A design-build stone restoration project completed in association with Brisk Waterproofing Company, the landmark Tweed Courthouse in Lower Manhattan received an $85 million renovation to become the new home for the Museum of the City of New York. The award-winning project involved extensive interior and exterior work including the replacement of nearly 4 million pounds of original façade stone from the 1890s within a design-build period of 30-months. The project incorporated new stone procured from local quarries dating back to the turn of the century to replace pieces that were beyond repair.
